Persona: Exploring Self-Portraiture features the work of more than 20 contemporary artists as well as historical self-portraits. The exhibition probes the limits of self-portraiture and examines the concept of visually representing the self. “Persona” features paintings, sculptures, photographs, prints, fused glass, textile art, illustrations, and more!

Special Event: Artist Roundtable
Join Forest Lawn Museum for an open house and artist roundtable celebrating “Persona: Exploring Self-Portraiture” on Saturday, August 9, from 2:00-4:00 PM. Tour the museum galleries, then enjoy a Q&A with Forest Lawn Museum Director James Fishburne, PhD, and several exhibition artists. Light refreshments will be served. The event is free and open to the public.
