Free Public and Private Tours
Free tours of our rotating exhibitions take place each Sunday at 2pm. Meet in the Museum Store where a museum staff member will begin the tour of the exhibition.
Director’s tours of the temporary exhibitions take place at 11am on the first Sunday of each month and are free to the public. The tour meets at the entrance to the exhibition (the third gallery in the museum, past the museum shop).
Tours of the Great Mausoleum Collection are free and offered upon request to groups of 12 or more. The tour lasts approximately 45 minutes. Tour meet at the entrance to the Great Mausoleum. Email museum@forestlawn.com to set up your tour date. Tours are available in English and Spanish (please specify which language you would like the tour to be in when emailing).
Educational presentations of the Crucifixion and Resurrection Paintings run Tuesday through Sunday in the Hall of Crucifixion-Resurrection. Read more about the hours for the presentations here.
Special tours and private tours of the Museum, Hall of Crucifixion-Resurrection, Great Mausoleum, and Court of David can be scheduled ahead of time for visiting school groups, churches, and adult groups by emailing musuem@forestlawn.com.
